ESTATES OF COLORADO SUBDIVISION
This subdivision of mountain land properties is deep in the Colorado Rockies in Park County
about an hour to an hour and twenty minutes straight west of Colorado Springs. The nearest
town is Hartsel, which has a gas station and a few stores. The larger towns of Fairplay,
Lake George, Buena Vista and Salida are less than forty-five minutes away. Some of the best
skiing in Colorado at Monarch and Breckenridge ski resorts are close to an hour drive. This
is an excellent location for cabin sites.
The nearby Pike and San Isabel National Forests have abundant wildlife including elk, deer,
bighorn sheep, and lots of small animals and birds.
A short drive from here are some of the best fishing lakes in Colorado. Elevenmile, Spinney,
and Antero are famous for their trout and other species of fish. Waterfowl are also abundant
there. Hunting is excellent for birds as well as big game.
There is no HOA and there are no HOA fees.
